One Tournament. Two Ways to Hunt!
May 14th - 15th, 2027
History in the Making!
Get ready for the First-Ever VR Lionfish Tournament! Shipwreck Discovery is teaming up with the Emerald Coast Open in Destin, Florida — the world’s largest lionfish tournament — for a first-of-its-kind virtual event. With $3,000 in cash prizes plus $300 in Meta credit on the line, gamers will compete across three categories with 10 prize levels in each! That means up to 30 winners, and a single player can win in all three categories for a max payout of $1,500 in cash! This is the largest prize pool in VR fishing history, and the only tournament that lets you hunt lionfish in the game while being directly connected to the real-world event. Gamers and Divers – this is your chance to compete, win, and be part of something truley historic!
