2026 Standings

The 2026 Emerald Coast Open proved once again why it holds the title of largest lionfish tournament in the world. With record-breaking pre-tournament participation and some serious underwater hustle, this year’s event was nothing short of legendary. The pre-tournament alone shattered expectations—and records—with Thomas Richardson breaking the record for most lionfish by an individual in the pre-tournament. Divers enjoyed picture-perfect weather and beautiful Gulf waters. The prizes flowed like a rippin’ current—with over $65,000 in cold hard cash and $70,000+ in gear raffled off to some very lucky winners. Conservation has never looked so competitive… or so stylish in wetsuits.
